How to assemble an irrigation system
The assembly and assembly of the system, after having purchased the necessary material, such as pipes and sprinklers, can be performed with simple equipment such as a hacksaw, scissors and universal pliers, without forgetting specific hydraulic tools such as tube-turners and the keys for fittings. Also on the fittings, you will also need some Teflon tape as well as a cordless drill to make the stirrup sockets. Proceed first of all with the laying of the pipes, taking care not to rub them or damage them and if this happens replace the damaged part with a sleeve. If you place more pipes in the same excavation, be careful not to confuse them when installing sprinklers and fittings. The assembly of the fittings is the immediately following operation, very simple in the case of compression fittings: loosen the ring nut without disassembling it, insert the pipe passing the ring seal system and arrive up to the stop. Then tighten the ring nut again and pull the threads. The threaded fittings, on the other hand, are mounted thanks to a Teflon gasket, wound on the thread in the opposite direction to that of screwing. For the installation of the sprinklers, it is a good idea to prepare a stirrup socket first, which is mounted on the pipe clamped between two collars fixed with bolts, after which a hole is made in the pipe itself with the drill. Finally, the pop-up sprinklers must be placed at a slightly lower level than the ground to avoid any damage caused by the passage of maintenance machines.
